Born to a pure-blood family of Chamberlain esteemed witches/wizards, Nic hails from Brooklyn, New York, and his parents were formerly Aurors. His father supposedly died in a botched mission years ago, and with his death, the Chamberlain name was besmirched with claims and accusations that Nic's father had been a traitorous Auror who supposedly worked with Scourers. However, Nic still firmly holds onto the belief that his father is innocent and perhaps still alive somewhere out there, so he became an Auror to find out just what happened in the mysteries surrounding his father's supposed demise.
Nic's had to jump through a lot of hoops and rose over his challenges, dealing with a lot of judgement and prejudice, due to being the son of a fallen Auror outed as a traitor. As such, Nic's a guarded man, keeping his own thoughts and secrets close to his chest. After all, he's an Occlumens, which proves to be very useful for his dangerous line of work.
Nic's not an overly warm/touchy-feelsy guy, but he's also not down-right unfriendly either???? Kind of aloof-ish/stand-off-ish, but mostly guarded really. But he's nice, amicable up to a certain point, once you get past that sort of gruff exterior of his. I'd imagine those within the Magical Law Enforcement are considered his allies, but only a select few people are close with him, like family members and close confidants he's grown close to over the years.
Nic was one of those notorious playboys back in his Ilvermorny days, although he grew out of that phase a long time ago. So yeah, probably broke a few hearts back then, so maybe a scorned boyfriend/girlfriend's still got a bone to pick w/ him harhar. Nowadays, Nic sleeps around occasionally, but only to satisfy his needs or if necessary for his work. Emotionally, he's not quite ready to commit to a long-term relationship, especially since he's an Auror, which brings a lot of danger to his life, and still is nursing a deep-seated love for his best friend whom he met at Ilvermorny. He's also kinda cynical about the whole "fall in love at first sight" cliches about romance, soooo...But hey, who knows! Someone might change his perspective on that.
Deeefinitely the crooked, dark wizards he goes after in his line of work! Those are def on top of his list. But really, anyone w/ a bone to pick with him or his loved ones goes. He's not really one to get angry fairly easily, but with the right buttons pressed, yeah he's bound to flip a table for sure. XD

Raven comes from the very strictly traditional pure-blood Blackwood family, but she's been branded as the black sheep of the family, due to her rather liberal views and rebellious, independent personality. The Blackwoods are known to have ties with some of the Death Eater families, so you can imagine that not a whole lot of people like the Blackwoods, and most people kind of are a bit ambivalent about her. She's the eldest daughter whom the family had expected to do greater things, but ever since she'd pretty much rebelled and gotten married after getting knocked up at a young age, all of those expectations shifted onto her younger sister. Which, you can guess, didn't really make things any better for her sisterly bond with her sister.
Now, Raven's pretty much estranged from her own family, whom she doesn't really talk to much, and is focused more on raising her amazing, cute son named Oz together with her husband, Bishop Costa. Raven's had to do a lot of things on her own, like getting her own money to open up her own boutique shop, called Fantastical Wonders, which is open to both No-Majs and magical beings alike. It's been nearly three years since then, and her business is flourishing quite well!
At first impression, Raven can come of rather strong, intimidating, what with her independent, feisty personality. She's not one to take anyone's shit, and she can be brutally blunt that someone might either take offense or cry. But she's amiable, and she shows her love for her friends through her sarcasm. Just call it tough love, really. In terms of family, Raven's side of the family is pretty much cray, so she doesn't even bother talking about them. She talks to her sister occasionally, but that's it. The only family she really cares about is her son, Osias "Oz" who is now turning three years old! She loves to death, and spoils him rotten every day! As for her husband, well...what is there really to say? As Rae would say, he's a poophead.She says that very lovingly though
Just because she's married doesn't mean she can't have somethin on the side! Girl's got needs, ya'know. I mean. She loves Bishop and appreciate the cute romantic stuff he does for her at home, but she's not exactly the most faithful wife. So I'm sure she's had several flings all around. She's also pansexual, so anyone that catches her eye goes really!
Oh yeah, she's fiercely protective of her family, especially her son Oz. She can be protective of her husband from time to time, but she knows he can handle himself. But know that Raven's not one to easily bend her will to anyone, and if someone has a bone to pick with her, she will not hesitate to fling a curse at 'em!
