Josephine R. Carlisle
[attr="class","dropfrumbodytxt"]Josephine "Josie" Rhiannon Carlisle was born to Anneliese Fitzgibbons Carlisle, a Hogwarts graduate working in the Department of International Magical Cooperation at MACUSA and Patrick Carlisle, a mechanic who specializes in magically imbued vehicles. She is eldest of two children. Her brother, Rory Alexander Carlisle, was born five years after her. From a young age, it was obvious that Josie was more of a tomboy than other girls her age. When she was five, she begged her father to let her start motocross, so they got her all of the equipment they needed with what funds they had and Josie has loved it ever since. Even now, during her breaks, she goes to the motocross course with her brother. A year later, she added karate to her extracurricular actives. Josie is currently a second degree black belt and plans to keep pursuing karate as long as she can.
When Josie was eleven, she began her years at Ilvermorny. When she stepped onto the Gordian Knot, the Wampus roared and the Thunderbird beat its wings. She ended up making the decision to become a member of Thunderbird house and hasn’t regretted the decision since. While she studied at Ilvermorny, she figured out that she had a talent for Defense Against the Dark Arts and for Charms. She also gained an interest in Quodpot and Quidditch and plays on the teams. At the moment, she has no idea if she wants to become an auror or if she wants to follow her father’s footsteps and become a mechanic. Perhaps she’ll figure out a way to do both… you never know.
