welp, here i am 200 years later after registering.

Despite an appearance that pays homage to the likes of neck-breaking thrash riffs of the 80’s, Luka couldn’t be further from the stereotypical lifestyle of the philistine. In fact, Luka swings the pendulum in the opposite direction to that of your good-natured neighbor. Energetic, sociable, and friendly, he’s the type that knows everyone and can and will stop you for a two hour chat in the local bar. With strong family values and a passion for his line of work, Luka perpetuates a positive perspective with hopes helping others. However, this positivity is very much reliant on the impression he leaves on others.
Overzealous is a good word to describe Luka. Grating at times, but it’s hard to be annoyed with someone so goddamn happy all the goddamn time, and when you do get annoyed you feel like an asshole. Never the type to sit still, he resembles more of an overgrown hyperactive child in presence than a 6’3 man. Impulsivity and a reckless disregard for personal safety plague his character. Luka lacks focus in much of his life and often picks up grandiose projects that he never follows through. Nevertheless, he means well, and if asked a favor from a friend he will always follow through in contempt of his own interpersonal flakiness.
But he deals with people well. Really well, in fact. On a whim he can recall even the most mundane details of an acquaintances life, but he can’t remember what he had for breakfast or what shoes he's wearing without looking down. People are important to him, even the ones he talks to in passing, and without them he struggles to find any sort of enrichment in his life. What’s more, Luka can’t stand being alone, so much so that he would rather be in the company of perfect strangers than to suffer another minute in isolation.
Needless to say, friendships play an important role in Luka’s life, but none of them (sans his brother and his ex) have proven to be all that depthy. This isn’t for lack of want, but for some people those close connections prove to be challenging.
As anticipated, he doesn’t take adversity well and will quickly fall into the habit of feeling sorry for himself. Likewise, he can be a bit of a passive aggressive dick. Having been rather coddled by his Mother his entire life, any sort of negativity tends to result in a direct hit on his self esteem. It takes a bit of effort and patience for Luka to bounce back from hardship.
Wanted; Friends, or like, anyone really. Family members are cool too since he comes from a massive Italian american wizard family and has probably like 30 cousins. I mention briefly in his app he has an ex that he probably loathes for being a ghosting beyotch and ruining his life, around 25-26, gender doesn’t matter. Beyond that, I’m open to any and all meeting threads to see how our characters hit it off.
